This Matcha Green Tea powder is a dietary treasure that comes from the orchards of the Uji region, a most prestigious terroir for premium quality leaves.
It's a versatile Matcha, with sweetness, green intensity and low bitterness. It has a fresh, flowery aroma and a taste balanced between bitterness and umami. Its herbaceous, round and fragrant flavours make Matcha ideal for all kinds of preparations: pastries, cold or hot drinks, lattes, ice creams, etc.
Made from 2nd harvest leaves, it is produced in covered plantations. To increase the proportion of amino acids in the leaves, such as the famous L-Theanine, the tea plants are grown under shade for 3 weeks before harvesting.
Matcha has stimulating and invigorating properties that help resist physical and mental fatigue. Grown in Uji, Japan, the historic home of Japanese green tea, this Matcha green tea has been cultivated from father to son for generations: hand-crafted goldsmith's work to watch the tea bushes grow.
It comes from the Yabukita, Saemidori, Okumidori and Fushun cultivars.

Matcha green tea powder* *Organically produced.
Serving suggestions
Hot beverage: pour the hot water (70°C) over the tea. Stir well.
Ceremonial Matcha: Pour a quarter cup of hot water (70°C) over the tea. Whisk until frothy.
Baking: Dilute the matcha in pancake batter, cake mixes and ice creams....
Smoothies: Pour the water or iced milk over the tea. Stir well.
Cooking: add to doughnut batter or mix with salt for seasoning.
Cannot replace a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. It is recommended to respect the recommended doses. Recommended dose for maximum benefits: 2.5g of green tea infusion per day (1cc shaved is equivalent to 1.74g).
