To increase the proportion of amino acids in the leaves such as the famous L-Theanine, the tea plants are grown under shade for 3 weeks before harvesting.

Tasting advice
Hot drink: pour hot water (70°C) over the tea. Stir well.
Ceremonial Matcha: Pour a quarter cup of hot water (70°C) over the tea. Whisk until frothy.
Baking: Dilute matcha in pancake batter, cake mix, ice cream....
Smoothies: Pour water or ice milk over the tea. Stir well.
Cooking: add to doughnut batter or mix with salt for seasoning.

It comes from the prestigious Uji region, which produces some of the most renowned teas in Japan. It has been meticulously cared for from the orchard to your cup. This position is historical, Uji is at the origin of the Sencha processing technique (Uji method).
