Ceremony Matcha is a soft green powder with an intense creamy chlorophyll flavour.
Made exclusively with Gyokuro Spring Tencha leaves from the first harvest, Ceremony Matcha has all the virtues of a superior quality tea: called Koicha, it is the Matcha used for the Tea Ceremony in Japan. This tea is grown in Uji, Japan, a very prestigious area for premium quality leaves.
The Matcha Whisk, or Chasen, is the essential element in a Japanese tea ceremony and in the preparation of beaten matcha tea. Our matcha whisk is made from a single piece of golden bamboo. It is a 100-strand whisk, allowing for a perfect matcha tea emulsion.
Our Matcha tea spoon, or Chashaku, is used exclusively for Matcha tea powder. One spoonful of Matcha with the Chashaku is equivalent to one dose for 1 person (depending on the matcha tea). A traditional instrument of the Japanese tea ceremony, the Matcha tea spoon will accompany you just as well in your daily Matcha tea preparations!
Finally, the Chawan or ceremonial bowl is traditionally used in Japan for the Japanese Chanoyu tea ceremony. This white ceremonial bowl can be used for matcha tea tasting, or you can use it as an everyday object to replace your usual bowl with style!
