Considering the philosophy of yoga, this new generation, non-skid yoga mat has been developed respecting the environment with a “pebbledash” surface.

We are pleased to offer you one of the best yoga mats, made from natural products with newly developed and patented foam, its structure strengthened by a cotton fabric which makes it tear-proof. No toxic material has been used in its manufacture, it is certified OKO-TEX 100 level II*.

Its adhesive surface is significant for delicate postures. This yoga mat comprises a closed cellular construction, which prevents absorption of fluids, making it easy to keep clean.

Chin Mudra gives you a mat which respects the Earth:
• Recyclable,
• Biodegradable,
• Antiallergic,
• Tear-proof,
• Machine washable at 30°

Size: 180cm long x 60cm wide x 2.8 mm thick

Colour: Green

Weight: 1 kg (+/- 10%)

The Extra-Mat has a very solid structure with a cotton veil in its core that makes it tear-proof and has two different surfaces, which can be used as desired. Designed for extreme practices and long durations. It is a training mat par excellence that is suitable for all types of yoga.
Important notes for use:
The more you use your mat, the more non-slip it will become! To speed up this process you can also place the mat somewhere in your home for a week to walk on it, with bare feet.

Machine washable at 30° without spinning

Important care notes:
Your mat is machine washable: Use a little mild detergent and a cool wash cycle (no more than 30°C). Do not use the spin cycle. Give it some time to dry (do not use a tumble dryer or radiator)
Avoid wringing or using your mat before it is completely dry, as this may cause damage to the surface. You can roll your mat with a terry towel and squeeze out the excess water to speed up the drying process.
You can also clean your Yoga Mat with a damp cloth.

After 12 years of involvement in the production of yoga mats with other natural materials like rubber, Per is still our first choice. The reasons are many:
1. The energy required to produce a mat is a major factor in determining how beneficial a product is to the environment.
- Per production is energy efficient.
- Our Per mats are tried and tested to be durable when handled properly - much more so than TPE and rubber mats under the same circumstances. The longer a mat lasts, the less of a burden it is on nature.
2. The emissions of harmful substances during production are very low compared to most other materials, including those of natural origin.
3. Per is not toxic at all. We monitor in our factory and subject our yoga mats to independent testing. Our products are certified Öko Tex Standard 100 Level 1 tested, the highest level, guaranteeing safe use of our products.
4. Natural rubber disintegrates very quickly under the sun and exposure to oxygen, and as in any other industrial product the addition of chemicals is necessary to make it more or less durable.
5. Per does not cause allergies unlike rubber.
6. The environmental issue regarding rubber is far from being resolved. The increased demand for rubber is causing an acceleration of deforestation of primary rainforests, as rubber trees only grow in the tropics.
Logging for industrial crops such as rubber destroys the tropical biosphere and the living environment for many animal and plant species, which is unacceptable. The diverse vegetation in areas such as Kerala / South India and South East Asia is being replaced by monoculture rubber. Very few plants are able to survive in the shade of rubber trees. South India for example, is already experiencing a severe shortage of Ayurvedic herbs due to this.
