Size: 185cm x 66cm x 6,4mm

Weight: 1.8kg (+/- 10%)

The Extrem-Mat has a very solid structure with a cotton fleece core that makes it tearproof and has two different surfaces, which can be used as desired. Designed for extreme and long term use, it is wear resistant.
Important notes for use:
A significant amount of perspiration or moisture can lead to a decrease in the adhesion of the mat, as its structure does not absorb liquids. To enhance the anti-slip properties of the carpet, you should apply fine salt to the entire surface of the carpet and rub the carpet with your hand in an anti-clockwise direction. Leave the salt on the carpet overnight and the next morning clean your carpet with a small terry towel.
The more you use your carpet, the more non-slip it will become! To speed up this process you can also place the mat somewhere in your home for a week and walk on it with bare feet.

Important notes for use and maintenance:
The more you use your mat, the more it becomes nonslip! To accelerate this process, you can also place the mat somewhere in your home, for a week, to be walked on with bare feet.
Your mat is machine-washable: Use a bit of gentle washing detergent and a cold wash cycle (no more than 30°C). Do not use the spin-dry cycle. Give it some time to dry (do not use a tumble drier or radiator).
Avoid wringing it out, or using your mat before it is completely dry, as this could cause surface damage. You can roll your mat with a terry towel, and squeeze the excess water out to accelerate the drying process.
You can also clean your Yoga Mat with a damp cloth.

After 12 years being involved in yoga mat production with other natural materials like rubber, Perchloroethylene is always our first choice. There are numerous reasons as to why:
1. The energy required to make a mat is a significant factor to determine the way in which a product is beneficial for the environment.
- Making the mat with Perchloroethylene is economical as regards energy consumption.
- Our Perchloroethylene mats are tried and tested to be durable when they are suitably manipulated - a lot more than the thermoplastic rubber mats and the rubber mats, under the same conditions. Also, the longer the lifespan of the mat, the less the mat is a burden on nature.
2. The emission of harmful substances during production is very low, when compared with most other materials, including those from natural origins.
3. Perchloroethylene is not toxic at all. We carry out independent tests in our factory on our yoga mats. Our products are certified Öko Tex Standard 100 Level 1 tested, the highest level, guaranteeing you an assured use of our products.
4. Natural rubber disintegrates very quickly in the sun, and with exposure to oxygen, and like in any other industrial product, the adding of chemical products is necessary to make the product more or less durable.
5. Perchloroethylene does not cause rubber allergies.
6. The environmental question concerning rubber is very far from being answered. The increased demand for rubber causes the deforestation of primary tropical forests to accelerate, as rubber trees only grow in the tropics.
Logging for industrial culture like rubber destroys the tropical biosphere and the living environment of many animal and plant species, which is unacceptable. The diverse vegetation in areas like Kerala / Southern India and South-East Asia is replaced by the monoculture of rubber. Very few plants are capable of surviving in the shade of rubber trees. Southern India, for example, has already experienced a serious shortage of ayurvedic herbs because of this.

Super texture.
