Unlike cotton, which is naturally heavy and prone to flattening quickly, kapok is a very light, soft, and silky plant fiber. It provides a generous, medium-firm filling without making the futon excessively heavy.
More resilient, it tends to regain its volume better after use, ensuring consistent support over time.
Carefully carded, the kapok is divided into four layers, wrapped in an unbleached organic cotton fabric, and compartmentalized to minimize material shifting.
The removable outer cover has a zipper closure.
The two adjustable straps have brass buckles and are reinforced at stress points to facilitate transporting the rolled futon.
The inner mattress should never be machine washed or immersed.
To maintain its volume and comfort, shake it regularly, fluff it gently, and air it out occasionally in the sun.
If a stain occurs, clean only the affected area with a slightly damp cloth, then allow it to air dry completely.
